Here at Jones Chapel, a pillar in our community of tradition and faithfulness since the 1830s, we’re a vibrant community of faith dedicated to spreading the love, hope, and joy that Christ brings.

Our History
Our story begins in 1830, long before the first log cabin served as our worship space. Over the decades, generations of families have filled our pews, weaving a tapestry of faith, service, and love under the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
The current sanctuary, standing since 1892, has been a haven for worshipers that have celebrated life’s milestones, supported each other through trials, shared in the joy of fellowship and serving community, and continuously sparked a love of Christ.

At Jones Chapel, we are dedicated to sparking and nurturing a profound love for Christ within our community.Our Mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ who worship passionately, love extravagantly, and witness boldly; emphasizing compassion, service, and spiritual growth.
In our worship, we desire to surrender to and be fully devoted to one God—the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We endeavor to be a place where love, hope, and joy are not just felt but actively shared.
Jesus calls those who follow Him to love God wholeheartedly and love their neighbors as themselves. Our desire is to demonstrate to the world the extravagant love of God in the person of Jesus Christ.
We will advance our mission through the teachings of Jesus Christ and join God’s mission to make more disciples. Through diverse ministries and impactful outreach, we commit to spreading the Gospel, enriching spiritual lives, and positively influencing both our local and global communities.
